Acquisition of used AAT products
Often AAT products are for sale on internet platforms like, e.g. Ebay. Please check the following aspects before buying any of them.
- Before you buy a product, please make sure that the person selling it may be able to do so. A great number of AAT products are bought by insurance companies and lent to the insured person. These aids are not allowed to be sold when not needed anymore, but must be returned to the insurance company.
- To use the product safely, it is indispensable that you receive instructions. Only authorized persons may do that.
- For older products it is possible that spare parts are no longer available.
- Repairs can only be done by authorized dealers. A dealership in your vicinity you find here.
