The s-max is particularly suited for use with compact children’s wheelchairs and can be attached to seats measuring 24 cm wide or more.

The s-max’s thought-out safety concept includes brakes that stop automatically at the edge of each step. The intelligent technology is responsible for the particularly safe and effortless climbing process. An engine immobiliser prevents unauthorized use thus adding extra safety.

The climbing speed is individually adjustable to adapt to various climbing situations. If desired the single step mode can be turned off.

The s-max is quickly and easily mounted and, due to its compact measurements, it is also suitable for particularly narrow wheelchairs – minimum seat width is 24 cm.

Climbing stairs in the dark is made easy by the integrated LEDs.

ComfortStep was developed for the stair climber series s-max and c-max. It revolutionizes the previously existing climbing kinematics of these stair climbers. For the transported person this is particularly evident because of a comfortable climbing process characterized by low vibrations.

ComfortStep is a standard component of each s-max and c-max stair climber.It works in the single step mode as well as in the regular climbing mode. The adaptation to a variety of step heights is a further function provided by ComfortStep. This makes an easy and individual adaptation to your particular stairs possible.
