My name is Filimon, and I'm 23 years old. I started my apprenticeship in September 2025, and before that I worked at AAT as a summer intern.
Hello Filimon, which tasks do you enjoy the most?
I don't have any tasks that I prefer over others. When you're passionate about something, everything is fun. The coolest part is when I get to be creative and contribute my ideas to the company.
What is a typical workday like for you?
I support my colleagues in their day-to-day work and make sure that I complete my tasks as a trainee thoroughly. As trainees, we’re also given a lot of responsibility and get to work closely with other departments.
What advice do you have for anyone else who's interested in an apprenticeship here??
Take the plunge and apply. It's not just your grades that matter—what counts is who you are as a person.
Would you tell us a bit about the course of your training in relation to the company and school lessons and how the two areas can be combined?
The training here at AAT is dual. This means that your training takes place at two learning locations, namely at the company and at school.
We spend three days a week at the company and the remaining two days at school. School and work can be combined perfectly, as topics are covered at school that you will encounter again during your training at the company.
What was your best experience at AAT?
The best experience I've had at AAT so far has been working with the marketing department and testing the new configurator with the IT team.
What tips do you have for those who would also like to apply here?
Engagement
Have motivation
Be helpful
Be the person you are (don't pretend)
Have you already thought about what you would like to do after your apprenticeship?
My goal is to successfully complete my training and then be hired by the company. I want to help the company grow, gain professional experience, and perhaps take on more responsibility in a leadership role later on. Starting my own business would also be very interesting.
