Apprenticeship at AAT
We are passionate about supporting young talents and offering them perspectives for their future. That is why we attach great importance to the education of our apprentices and focus on long-term and sustainable personnel development.
Our aim is to offer our apprentices a high-quality apprenticeship that prepares them perfectly for their future tasks. We attach great importance to allowing our apprentices to grow and develop - not only professionally but also personally.
Another important aspect of our apprenticeship is that we integrate our apprentices into our company at an early stage and assign them to different departments. This allows them to gain valuable experience during their apprenticeship and get a comprehensive picture of our company and the various fields of work. We are proud of the fact that we have employed many former apprentices in almost every department and can thus demonstrate how our apprenticeship program makes an important contribution to long-term personnel development.
We are convinced that our employees are our company's most valuable capital. By offering solid apprenticeships, we contribute significantly to securing our future."

Alexandar Martinovic, Head of HR
As Head of HR, I am the first person to contact for all questions relating to career opportunities within our company. In collaboration with our department managers, I conduct job interviews and recruit the best talents for our team. Ensuring the well-being of our employees and enabling them to realise their career goals is a particularly important part of my job.
What I enjoy most about my role is the daily dialogue with colleagues, applicants and new team members. Each conversation offers the opportunity to get to know exciting personalities and to shape the future of AAT together.
As already my father worked for the original company - that AAT emerged from - and my brother successfully completed his apprenticeship at AAT, I have been familiar with the company and grew up with it from an early age. So being in this role as Head of HR is something very special for me.
Sabrina Helbling, Head of Apprenticeship
I have been working for AAT since 2010. Back then I started my apprenticeship as an industrial clerk in our company and during this time I was able to discover all important administrative departments such as national and international sales, service center or our purchasing department.
But even before starting my apprenticeship, I always knew that I would like to express my creativity in my professional life as well. The apprenticeship at AAT affirmed this vision and since 2013 I am in charge of all marketing activities that affect the external presentation of our company.
In 2019, I additionally became head of apprenticeship and since then I am the first contact person for our apprentices. It is very important to me that we at AAT continuously improve our apprenticeship program and encourage young talents not only professionally but also personally.
Frequently asked questions (FAQ's)
It is best to submit the application at the end of the previous year. In this way, the application can be optimally considered for the start of the apprenticeship in the following year.
We prefer to receive your application by e-mail. It is also possible to send us a written application by post.
A complete application consists of a cover letter, a curriculum vitae, school certificates, internship certificates (if available) and work references (if available).
When we receive an application, we pay particular attention to its completeness, individuality and the personal cover letter. Certificates are important to us, but we put focus on the person behind the application.
We will give you feedback on the arrival of your application as soon as possible. Once we have reviewed all applications, we will let you know whether we will invite you to an interview or whether it did not work out this time.
In addition to an interview and a short recruitment test, we often offer a trial period of several days.
If you are also interested in other apprenticeships, you are welcome to include this information directly in your application. The topic can then be discussed in greater detail during the interview.
There is always the possibility to do an internship. However, the date and duration must be agreed in advance, so that we can dedicate enough time for you.
